One of 28 letters from Romano Fonseca’s 19th century translation of The Alphabet of Angels by the late Italo Calvino. This unusual collection of spiritual texts has been meticulously transposed from its original context and updated by the Curators in a limited edition of 50 prints.

The “Period” is an unusual addition to the traditional Roman alphabet and one that Fonseca added in his translation in order to signify the conclusion of an idea or concept and the beginning of a new one.
